Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients within a Level III NICU and other hospital units. They will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and operate advanced equipment to support patient airway management and ventilation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions to determine appropriate interventions.
• Administer treatments including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, nebulizers, and airway management.
• Operate sophisticated ventilation equipment such as Servo U, Hamilton G5, and T1 transport vents.
• Conduct ABG assessments and perform EKGs during designated hours on off-shift periods.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license with NRP certification (accepted CRT license prior to 07/01/2022).
• Minimum level 2-3 NICU experience including ventilator management.
• Proven ability to independently intubate adult patients.
• Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal ICU care.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, preferably EPIC.
• Strong teamwork, integrity, and commitment to patient care excellence.
