Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of cardiac conditions. They work closely with physicians to provide accurate imaging and patient assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and calibrate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality cardiac images.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Capture and analyze cardiac images, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to interpret ultrasound results and assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed records of exams and ensure equipment maintenance and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid credentials or certification as a Cardiac Sonographer or Ultrasound Technician.
• Possess prior experience in performing echocardiograms or cardiac ultrasound procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting images.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a variable schedule effectively.
