Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing and analyzing tissue specimens for diagnostic purposes in a urology laboratory. Ensures accurate histological processing and maintains quality standards throughout the workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tissue samples through cutting, staining, and labeling with precision.
• Operate and maintain histology laboratory equipment.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and specimen records.
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols to ensure specimen integrity.
• Collaborate with medical staff to support diagnostic procedures.

Qualifications:

• Certified Histotech or relevant histology certification preferred.
• Proven experience working with tissue specimen processing in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Knowledge of histological staining and microscopy techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
