Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure high-quality patient monitoring and adhere to clinical protocols to promote recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and monitor vital signs using GE telemetry systems.
• Administer medications and perform IV and Foley catheter placements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Respond swiftly to patient alarms and emergencies, including chest tube management.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, especially for CABG patients.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license and at least 1 year of recent acute care hospital telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to care for post-operative CABG patients preferred.
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality with strong initiative.
• Willingness to work evening shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
