Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients to improve mobility, strength, and independence through personalized therapy plans. They serve in long-term care facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering quality rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at optimizing patient mobility and independence.
• Supervise and guide therapy services delivered by other staff members in accordance with policies.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet individual goals.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state of Missouri.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in physical therapy, with preferred experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for transporting or attending off-site duties.
• Demonstrate knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations, laws, and guidelines.
• Exhibit excellent clinical assessment and therapeutic skills.
