Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified MRI technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures using specialized MRI equipment. The candidate will ensure accurate imaging and patient safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI systems to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including PPE and isolation precautions.
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed for imaging procedures.
• Perform a variety of MRI exams including abdomen, pelvis, brain, extremities, and vascular studies such as MRA and MRV.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient information within EPIC or similar charting systems.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure diagnostic accuracy and optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NY license and possess a minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with adult acute care imaging, contrast administration, and peripheral IV placement.
• Have relevant certifications such as BLS.
• Be familiar with Siemens MRI systems and specialized imaging techniques (e.g., MRA, MRCP).
• Possess strong knowledge of safety protocols, PPE, and infection control.
• Ability to adapt to floating and variable patient needs.
