Job Summary:

A Physical Therapy Assistant is needed for a 13-week assignment to support patient rehabilitation and therapy services. The role involves working closely with licensed therapists to implement treatment plans and ensure quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in conducting patient assessments and therapy sessions.
• Implement prescribed therapeutic exercises and activities to aid patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting findings to supervising therapists.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment adhering to infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and their families about ongoing exercises and therapy routines.
• Follow all clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active PTA license or certification.
• Have previous experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be proficient in documentation and patient recordkeeping.
• Hold current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
