Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the TICU, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate attention.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously to identify changes and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, and traction devices.
• Perform advanced procedures such as central line and arterial line insertions, lumbar punctures, chest tube placements, and EVD insertions.
• Document patient care accurately within the Meditech system, maintaining compliance with unit policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding condition and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in a critical care setting, with trauma experience preferred.
• Familiar with ICU equipment including ventilators, CRRT, EV 1000, and traction devices.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including rotating weekends and self-scheduling initiatives.
