Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient care and safety. This role supports the Radiology Department by ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to institutional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and positioning during Procedures.
• Ensure proper operation, calibration, and quality control of imaging equipment.
• Follow established protocols and comply with ARRT Standards of Ethics and facility policies.
• Document procedure details and patient information accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current full certificate of Radiologic Technology from the Department of Health Services, California.
• Possess approved CPR certification.
• Demonstrate at least two years of experience in diagnostic x-ray and one year in CT.
• Maintain active ARRT certification, with fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification, advanced CT certification.
