Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled clinical practice and excellent communication. The RN will float between medical, surgical, and occasionally cardiovascular units to support staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, and wound vac equipment to deliver patient care.
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care across units.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii Nursing License prior to employment.
• Possess 2-10 years of RN experience in acute care settings.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate flexibility in floating across medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills with proficiency in wound vacs, chest tubes, and EMR systems.
• Credentialing with PALS, TNCC, or ENPC is a plus.
