Job Summary:
Coordinate and perform advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure patient safety, image quality, and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images of head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis with and without contrast.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort by following established protocols and safety procedures.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.
• Monitor and assess images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification as a CT technologist.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience working in a hospital setting.
• Maintain a valid CPR certification.
• Hold a Virginia license or be eligible for licensure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans, with and without contrast.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
