Job Summary:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Proficient in a variety of ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive ultrasound scans of abdomen, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Administer procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative ultrasounds.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret and communicate ultrasound findings.
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS certifications in AB, OB, and RVT.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of full-time sonography experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Active BLS certification through AHA.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ultrasound equipment, including Canon i700 and Fuji Synapse PACS.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and clinical procedures related to ultrasound.
• Ability to work flexible 40-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotations.
