Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift position in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit. The role requires flexibility to float between floors and potentially to another campus, with a strong preference for candidates living 150 miles or more from the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care within the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, promptly reporting significant changes.
• Document patient interactions accurately using required charting systems, such as Altera if applicable.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Complete lab items within 72 hours of acceptance or coordinate completion prior to start date.
• Maintain compliance with travel and facility policies, including mandatory drug screening and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in good standing with at least 2 years of experience in a similar service line.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification are required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already held.
• Flexibility to float and adapt to different floors or campuses.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug screen, including Marijuana, with a clean result.
• Candidates must reside at least 150 miles from the facility and have a license in hand prior to submission.
