Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a Medical-Surgical setting during night shifts. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care while maintaining compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient responses and escalate concerns to the healthcare team promptly.
• Document patient care activities accurately using electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate effective care.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Current Vermont RN license or multi-state RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ acute care experience, preferably in Med/Surg.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system.
• Ability to care for adult patients with occasional pediatric cases.
