Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to emergency room patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their needs. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver timely, quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on post-visit care and treatment plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Iowa RN license.
• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience preferred but not required.
