Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a busy Cath Lab setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes through expert clinical skills and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care during interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to execute complex procedures such as PCI, PFO, TAVR, and Impella placements.
• Follow established protocols to maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control.
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and assessments accurately in the electronic systems.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-care, and medication instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in procedures such as TAVR, PFO, Atherectomy, and PCI.
• Experience with advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, GE Innova, and Impella devices.
• Ability to work self-scheduled hours within a flexible team environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
