Job Summary:

The ER RN will provide acute care in a fast-paced emergency department, managing a diverse range of patient conditions with a focus on trauma, cardiac, and neurological cases. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care while supporting a multidisciplinary team in a busy Level IV Trauma Center.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize incoming patients to determine urgent care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and document findings accurately in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient care delivery.
• Maintain a safe environment, including managing seclusion and monitored rooms.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, including trauma and complex patient situations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of ER experience.
• Complete ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing trauma, cardiac, and neurological patients.
• Experience working in a Level IV Trauma Center preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour rotations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
