Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing services to patients in the ICU, ensuring the highest standard of patient safety and clinical excellence. The RN will monitor and manage critically ill patients with complex medical conditions requiring advanced interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and continuously monitor critically ill patients' conditions to detect changes and implement appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments, including drips such as Cardizem, Insulin, Propofol, Versed, and vasopressors, following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Operate and interpret telemetry, monitors, and ventilators, including Hamilton C-1 ventilators.
• Collaborate with hospitalist or intensivist teams to coordinate patient care and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide support to nurse aides and other team members to ensure exceptional patient care during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple critically ill patients with complex conditions such as STEMI, non-STEMI, and stroke.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
