Job Summary:
Provide specialized endoscopy and gastrointestinal (GI) nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Support patient safety and comfort through skilled clinical procedures and effective patient communication.

Responsibilities:

• Perform endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopy with precision.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications according to protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment, including Olympus scopes and Meditech/CPN EMR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and safety.
• Document procedures, patient responses, and equipment usage accurately.
• Adhere to unit policies and promote a positive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with current state certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in endoscopy (ENDO).
• Demonstrate proficiency in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Have experience with Olympus scopes and EMR documentation.
• Exhibit strong patient care skills and a flexible, positive attitude.
