Job Summary:
The Radiology Medical Imaging Tech I is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging examinations on patients of all ages. They utilize their technical skills and knowledge of imaging modalities to produce accurate and high-quality results, supporting patient care and departmental workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to perform X-ray, mammography, CT, or MRI exams as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Apply principles and techniques of the relevant modality to obtain clear and diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient data.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and provide leadership in department workflow.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in relevant modality.
• Valid Oregon medical radiologic license or recent graduation from an approved program with a valid temporary Oregon permit.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong ability to operate imaging equipment and related office technology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
