Job Summary:
Provide specialized rehabilitation nursing care to patients in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This role involves managing a variety of acute care rehabilitation cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through compassionate, skilled nursing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients, including wound management, IV therapy, and patient transfers.
• Assess patient conditions regularly, monitor progress, and modify care plans as needed in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Utilize EMR systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to unit policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support patients’ emotional well-being by acting as a compassionate advocate and resource.
• Float between multiple campuses as required, demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and location.

Qualifications:

• Obtain and maintain a valid RN license with current, active registration.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in rehab or medical-surgical settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in wound care, blood draws, and IV therapy.
• Hold BLS certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Prefer candidates with previous rehab patient experience and familiarity with EMR systems.
