Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with OR experience to provide exceptional care in the operating room environment. This role involves supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgeries by anticipating their needs and maintaining sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to any changes in condition during procedures.
• Administer medications and perform wound care as directed, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly in compliance with facility policies.
• Support post-operative recovery processes by observing and reporting patient status to the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current California license required.
• At least 1 year of OR and ambulatory care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC are mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures.
• Flexibility to work day shifts, with occasional floating as needed.
