Job Summary:

The CT Tech provides diagnostic imaging services using computed tomography to support patient care across all age groups. This role operates imaging equipment, ensures safety, and delivers high-quality scans with strong IV and patient preparation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans for patients of all ages according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures and addressing comfort and safety needs.
• Maintain patient safety by screening for contraindications and verifying orders and relevant information.
• Administer and manage IV access as needed to support contrast-enhanced imaging.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure images are acquired accurately for diagnostic interpretation.
• Adhere to infection control standards and maintain organized, clean imaging work areas.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with CT (ARRT RT(R)(CT)).
• Possess 2+ years of CT experience in a clinical imaging setting.
• Demonstrate strong IV skills required for contrast preparation and patient support.
• Exhibit knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient safety best practices.
• Maintain proficiency in proper documentation and equipment quality/maintenance checks.
• Communicate effectively with patients and clinical teams to support smooth imaging workflows.
