Job Summary:

The CT Tech performs computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images used for patient diagnosis, treatment planning, monitoring, and prevention. The role requires independent clinical judgment, precise imaging execution, and clear communication with patients and care teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures to generate accurate, physician-ready results.
• Operate CT equipment and associated technologies (including CTA, calcium scores, and structural CTs).
• Assess patients, monitor condition throughout imaging, and address patient needs with effective communication.
• Ensure radiation safety and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and departmental policies.
• Maintain image quality through proper positioning, protocol selection, and verification of study requirements.
• Support workflow by assisting with orientation of other staff when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT(R) certification, with eligibility for CT or (CT) credential.
• Maintain an active CA Radiation License.
• Maintain an active CA Fluoroscopy License.
• Possess 2+ years of CT imaging experience, including CTA, calcium scoring, and structural CT imaging.
• Demonstrate strong patient assessment and monitoring skills with the ability to work independently.
• Hold valid BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
