Job Summary:


Registered Nurse (Telemetry) provides high-quality patient care for individuals requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and timely response to changes in clinical status. The role supports safe workflow, collaborates with the care team, and ensures completion of required testing and orientation activities.



Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and report abnormal findings promptly to the appropriate clinical team.
  
• Assess patients, obtain vital signs, and document clinical observations accurately and timely.
  
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions per prescribed orders and established protocols.
  
• Coordinate patient care activities, including safety checks and equipment readiness for continuous monitoring.
  
• Participate in orientation, complete required training modules, and follow unit-specific standards.
  
• Complete required lab work, pass/fail testing exams, and related acknowledgements within required timeframes.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  
• Possess BLS certification.
  
• Complete NIHSS certification.
  
• Demonstrate 1+ year of relevant clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  
• Provide proficiency with telemetry monitoring and nursing documentation practices.
  
• Maintain compliance with required exams and training completion within assigned deadlines.
