Job Summary:

Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical provides patient-centered nursing care to individuals across medical and surgical units. This per diem role requires the ability to float between units and deliver consistent care on weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, triage, and monitor patients’ clinical status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Perform nursing documentation that accurately reflects assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safe discharge.
• Maintain readiness to float between units while supporting continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license with verification completed.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Maintain current ACLS certification.
• Maintain current PALS and NRP certifications as applicable to the role/unit.
• Provide proof of MMR and varicella vaccination or valid attestation of vaccination/declination.
