Job Summary:
TRAVEL - RN - BMT Oncology (701) - CBCI - 7A - 5:30P - VENDOR provides direct patient care for oncology and bone marrow transplant patients in an acute-care setting. The RN administers chemotherapy, supports safe central line procedures, and manages complex patient needs using institutional protocols and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and related supportive therapies according to established protocols.
• Perform central line access and obtain blood draws while maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitor patients for treatment-related complications and promptly escalate concerns to the care team.
• Manage IV therapy using Baxter IV pumps and ICU medical chemo adapters.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Meditech/Onco EMR systems.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members to support safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and be able to practice in an acute-care hospital setting.
• Complete at least 1 year of current BMT Oncology hospital acute care experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Maintain current ACLS certification.
• Hold ONS certification or be able to obtain/maintain in alignment with role expectations.
• Demonstrate strong BMT/HemOnc experience and competence with oncology treatment workflows.
