Job Summary:

TRAVEL - PHYSICAL THERAPY (761) is responsible for delivering inpatient rehabilitation services that support patient recovery and functional independence. This role provides evidence-based physical therapy with a focus on neuro rehabilitation and patient-centered communication.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients with stroke-related and other rehab diagnoses to determine physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-ed.
• Administer functional activities and training to improve mobility, self-care, and independence.
• Apply functional e-stim and other rehab technologies to support targeted therapeutic outcomes.
• Document care accurately in Meditech Expanse to support continuity and quality standards.
• Communicate using AIDET and perform immediate service recovery to address patient concerns.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Physical Therapist license/credential in the appropriate state(s).
• Complete at least 2 years of experience in a hospital and/or inpatient rehab setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in stroke evaluation and treatment.
• Provide strong clinical competency in neuro rehabilitation techniques and therapy planning.
• Maintain current knowledge of Joint Commission stroke-related care expectations.
• Exhibit the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary inpatient rehab environment.
