Job Summary:

EEG Tech is responsible for performing and monitoring diagnostic electroencephalography services across inpatient and outpatient settings, including ICU and ER environments. The role supports accurate data acquisition and patient-safe procedures to aid clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Perform EEG setup, calibration, and test procedures for ordered diagnostic studies.
• Apply and maintain electrodes and assist with patient positioning for optimal signal quality.
• Monitor recordings in real time and troubleshoot technical issues to preserve data integrity.
• Assist with protocol preparation and documentation of study details and results as required.
• Coordinate effectively with clinical teams in ICU and ER settings to ensure timely testing.
• Maintain infection control practices and equipment readiness between cases.

Qualifications:

• Hold active EEG Tech credentials (R.EEGT.) and meet applicable credential requirements.
• Bring 3+ years of EEG experience with exposure to inpatient and outpatient workflows.
• Demonstrate familiarity with ICU and ER patient needs and rapid-response environments.
• Maintain current AHA or ARC-approved BLS certification.
• Upload and maintain required licensing and documentation in accordance with onboarding requirements.
• Provide complete 7-year work history for verification upon request.
