Job Summary:

TRAVEL - RN - EP Lab (731) - Wesley Medical Center- 7A - 5P - VENDOR provides specialized nursing care in an Electrophysiology (EP) setting, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The role focuses on safe patient management before, during, and after EP lab interventions, including ablations and pacemaker implantations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for EP procedures and verify pre-procedure documentation and readiness.
• Assist with cardiac ablations and pacemaker implantations, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status during interventions and escalate concerns promptly.
• Coordinate equipment readiness and support procedures using Abbott ablation/mapping systems and fluoroscopy as required.
• Manage post-procedure care, including site monitoring, recovery assessment, and discharge education support.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Kansas RN license.
• Maintain active BLS and ACLS certification.
• Complete at least 1 year of current acute care EP RN experience.
• Demonstrate prior EP experience performing cardiac ablations and pacemaker implantations.
• Show familiarity with Abbott mapping systems and EP lab workflows.
• Provide evidence of strong teamwork skills and a steady, easygoing bedside approach.
