Job Summary:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - NICU (675) - Wesley Medical Center - 7A - 7P is a registered nursing role in a Neonatal ICU environment, providing high-acuity care for newborns. The RN delivers family-centered, developmentally supportive care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex clinical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct bedside care for critically ill neonates in the NICU and related higher-acuity patient populations.
• Administer and monitor IV therapies, including medication delivery and fluid management.
• Participate in care of neonates undergoing whole body cooling and postoperative surgical cases.
• Manage advanced respiratory and supportive therapies, including high frequency ventilation.
• Collaborate with clinicians during procedures such as PDA ligations, CVC placement, and chest tube management.
• Document patient status and nursing interventions in the assigned EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (KS licensure required).
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Maintain current NRP certification.
• Bring a minimum of 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience.
• Demonstrate experience supporting Level IV NICU patients when available.
• Prefer prior Meditech experience and comfort traveling to large teaching facilities.
