Job Summary:
Seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to support labor and delivery services at a hospital in Anchorage, AK. The ideal candidate will have experience in OB/GYN surgical procedures and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub duties for vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligation, vaginal repair, and hysterectomy procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to unit policies and safety guidelines.
• Operate and troubleshoot GE equipment and utilize the EPIC documentation system accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements.
• Comply with all unit-specific policies, dress code standards, and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Certified Surgical Tech credential.
• Demonstrate BLS and NRP certifications.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience working as a surgical tech, preferably in labor and delivery settings.
• Show proficiency in OB/GYN surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Ability to adapt to floating policies and variable patient ratios.
• Comfortable working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
