Job Summary:
The Dietitian will provide comprehensive nutritional care within a long-term care facility, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support resident health and wellness. This role involves assessing nutritional status, developing personalized care plans, and educating residents, families, and staff on dietary management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed nutritional assessments utilizing clinical data, laboratory results, and weight trends.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition care plans, including therapeutic diets, supplements, and hydration strategies.
• Monitor resident progress and modify interventions based on medical changes and outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with care teams to ensure compliant, resident-centered nutrition services.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition and disease management to promote adherence and health improvement.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation supporting audits, quality initiatives, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible for registration.
• Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in North Dakota or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and planning skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams effectively.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
