Job Summary:
Perform a wide range of mammography procedures utilizing advanced imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mammography and associated imaging equipment to produce diagnostic quality images.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and communicate with radiologists regarding any adjustments needed.
• Follow strict infection control and body substance isolation protocols per departmental standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including images, procedural notes, and relevant demographics.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
• Participate in annual mandatory education, including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and ongoing competency assessments.

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (R) certification in Mammography is required.
• Minimum of 2 years recent mammography experience.
• Valid Massachusetts Radiology license or application in progress.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Meditech Expanse or similar EHR systems.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings, with own transportation.
