Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to patients in the ICU unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to clinical protocols. Coordinate multidisciplinary care and utilize advanced equipment to monitor and stabilize critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions continuously and document vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Operate and troubleshoot critical care equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and IV pumps.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and emergency procedures.
• Educate patients and families about their condition and care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in critical care procedures such as intubations, central line insertions, and ventilator management.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
