Job Summary:
Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Adapt to various shifts and unit needs while maintaining compliance with licensure and certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond appropriately.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR system.
• Float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii RN license prior to start date.
• Possess at least 2 years of med-surg or higher-level nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using medical equipment such as wound vacs and chest tubes.
• Be flexible with shifts, including day and night schedules.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:5.
