Job Summary:
Provide professional nursing care to patients in a general surgery outpatient setting, supporting surgeons and healthcare providers with clinical tasks and patient management. Demonstrate competence in triaging, patient assessment, and procedural assistance to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient rooming, triaging new and follow-up patients via phone and in person.
• Collect and review reports from outside sources when necessary.
• Support wound care including suture removal and dressing changes as ordered by providers.
• Complete FMLA, Disability, and other patient paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in in-office procedures and support clinical needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide front desk support for clinically related patient issues and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Possess a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Have at least one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles, patient safety, and medical terminology.
• Be familiar with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Hold current BLS certification per American Heart Association standards.
