Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Surgical Tech to join our healthcare team in a dynamic surgical unit. The role involves supporting surgical procedures and ensuring a safe, sterile environment for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating room by sterilizing instruments and arranging surgical tools.
• Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs.
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning correctly and ready for use.
• Follow strict aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile field.
• Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate case records.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding safety, infection control, and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Current and active Surgical Technology certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a hospital setting.
• Proficient in use of surgical instruments and equipment, preferably with Meditech system experience.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work variable shifts with call requirements.
