Job Summary:
The EEG Tech is responsible for performing neurodiagnostic recording procedures on neonates, pediatric, and adult patients within a hospital setting. This role involves collaborating with neurologists and epileptologists to interpret abnormal findings and support patient diagnosis and management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct neurodiagnostic recording studies on neonates, pediatric, and adult patients using specialized EEG equipment.
• Document and review patient medical histories to provide accurate and comprehensive data for diagnosis.
• Communicate findings effectively with neurologists and epileptologists to facilitate patient care.
• Ensure all procedures adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and equipment protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment, including Nihon Kohden neuro work benches, to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete documentation within the Meditech system and update patient records promptly.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience performing neurodiagnostic procedures in a hospital environment.
• Certification in EEG technology or neurodiagnostics is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform procedures on neonates, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with medical staff and relay findings accurately.
• Knowledge of NIHON Kohden EEG equipment and Meditech documentation system.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating evening and weekend calls.
