Job Summary:
Provide specialized nutritional assessment and dietary planning services within an acute care hospital setting to support patient health and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' nutritional needs through comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized meal plans based on medical diagnoses and dietary guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care strategies.
• Document all interventions accurately within the Meditech electronic system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, guidelines, and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on proper nutrition and dietary choices.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Dietitian credential and Kentucky dietitian license.
• Possess at least 1 year of acute care experience as a registered dietitian.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using clinical documentation systems, specifically Meditech.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain current knowledge of nutrition guidelines and hospital policies.
