Job Summary:
The OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical teams throughout operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, anesthesia, and monitor patient vital signs during surgery.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Support surgical team with instrument handling and operative assistance.
• Document all patient care activities accurately.
• Respond promptly to intraoperative emergencies and changes in patient condition.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with current state credentials.
• BLS certification required.
• Proven experience in operating room or perioperative nursing.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including PM hours.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
