Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality perioperative care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and patient safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels, responding promptly to any changes.
• Administer medications and assist with patient positioning and surgical site preparation.
• Document perioperative care and procedures accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Educate patients and their families about perioperative processes and post-op care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a compact state.
• Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Demonstrate strong aseptic technique, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical setting.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
