Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine technologist with expertise in general NM, cardiac, and PET/CT imaging. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate imaging procedures and maintain compliance with certification and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging tests including general NM, cardiac, and PET/CT scans with precision.
  • Interpret EKG strips and analyze cardiac rhythms to prepare for basic arrhythmia exams.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data.
  • Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and radiation regulations.
  • Obtain and verify required certifications, licenses, and references prior to assignment.
  • Cover weekday and weekend call shifts, including holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Possess a valid NJ State Nuclear Medicine license or ability to obtain it within 1-2 weeks.
  • Demonstrate experience in general NM, cardiac, and PET/CT procedures.
  • Be proficient in interpreting EKGs and performing rhythm analysis.
  • Have reliable transportation within 75 miles of the facility.
  • Maintain current COVID vaccination and booster documentation.
