Job Summary:
The CT Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans to assist physicians in diagnosing various medical conditions. The technologist ensures the delivery of high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and ensuring proper positioning.
• Operate CT imaging equipment accurately to capture detailed diagnostic images.
• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety, including radiation safety procedures.
• Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment.
• Document procedures and ensure proper image labeling and storage.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization.
• Current state license or registration to operate diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Proven experience performing CT scans, preferably with night shift availability.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
