Job Summary:
The dietitian will provide inpatient nutrition therapies and assessments for adult to geriatric patients, ensuring appropriate interventions and compliance with clinical standards. This role involves managing patient diets, monitoring food-drug interactions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient nutrition.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments.
• Conduct calorie counts, nutrition evaluations, and monitor food-drug interactions.
• Manage tube feedings and TPN administration, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Document interventions and assessments within Epic and other unit systems.
• Respond to call and holiday schedules as required, providing coverage during weekends and after-hours.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to adjust treatment plans according to patient needs and progress.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RD or RDN credential with BLS certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of clinical experience in inpatient nutrition services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication tools.
• Be authorized for GA licensure or possess a GA License (quick turnaround preferred).
• Maintain full compliance with healthcare facility requirements prior to start.
• Willing to work floating, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
