Job Summary:

Seeking a Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech to support a Level I Trauma Center with expertise in pediatric and adult catheterization procedures. The role involves day shifts, on-call responsibilities, and cross-disciplinary case experience, contributing to high-quality patient care in a busy teaching and magnet hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pediatric and adult cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures in a two-room cath lab.
• Ensure compliance with safety and radiation protocols, including radiation badge management.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and radiologists to assist during complex cases such as transplants, biopsies, balloon, stent, and valve placements.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC charting systems and uphold clinical standards.
• Adhere to scheduled on-call shifts, including weekends, and participate in emergency response teams as needed.
• Support patient care through proper equipment setup and sterile techniques during procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or be eligible for licensure, with proof of application or walk-through completion.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience in pediatric or adult Cath Lab settings.
• Maintain current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
• Certification in RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA.
• Hold a radiation safety badge, or be willing to obtain one.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in pediatric and adult interventional procedures.
