Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role involves providing high-quality acute care across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults, in a busy 64-bed unit.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, and cardiac arrest.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure prompt and effective treatment.
• Administer medications and utilize specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Float between units as needed, providing support across various patient demographics.
• Maintain current licensure and certifications, including AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCCT.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license and all other valid RN licenses.
• Possess 2+ years of recent ED experience, including some pediatrics.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
• Be able to provide up-to-date documentation of relevant certifications and travel experience.
• Have a valid driver’s license with address matching demographics.
• Ability to work on a 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM shift, with floating flexibility.
