Job Summary:

Experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in surgical environments, specifically in the operating room setting. Adept at circulating and scrubbing across multiple service lines to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub in various surgical specialties including General, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Thoracic, and Robotics.
• Prepare and set up operating rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team members during procedures, maintaining sterile environments and adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes during surgeries to ensure patient safety.
• Document surgical procedures accurately in electronic health records and manage inventory through Pyxis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care before, during, and after surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience in a surgical setting.
• Valid Ohio RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety standards.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 250 lbs. with assistance.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, including Epic, and communication tools like Vocera and Outlook.
