Job Description
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Cardiovascular Services provides executive leadership for the comprehensive cardiovascular service line, including the cardiac catheterization lab, cardiology clinic, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. This role focuses on driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, financial performance, and service line growth while fostering physician engagement and ensuring exceptional patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all operations within the cardiovascular service line.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand cardiovascular services.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to promote patient-centered care.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and monitor key clinical outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; MBA or MHA preferred.
- Possess a minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in cardiology services within a healthcare setting.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in financial management and strategic planning.
- Possess strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
