Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Scan Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing Siemens equipment at a teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designation. The technician will provide high-quality scans while adhering to safety and compliance standards, including radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens Naeotom Alpha photon counting and Siemens X.Cite Somaris 10 CT scanners to acquire diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for scanning procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold radiation safety by providing agency supplied radiation badges.
• Float within scope to sister facilities as needed to meet departmental demands.
• Adhere to scheduling guidelines by working 3 nights per week, with holiday rotation included.
• Comply with all facility and state licensing, including certification in BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT).

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in Level 1 trauma or Siemens imaging systems.
• Hold current ARRT RT (R) (CT) and SCRQSA (R) (CT) certifications.
• Have a valid South Carolina license or be able to obtain in time for the start date.
• Demonstrate competence in operating Siemens imaging equipment.
• Bring at least one year of general radiology experience preferred.
• Be able to work night shifts and float within scope to different facilities.
